Silversea Cruises record highest
call volume in 15 years |

Silversea
Cruises achieved the highest call volume day in its 15-year history
on May 26. The single-day record occurred during a three-week period
where bookings surged nearly 150 percent compared to the same period
last year, and average call volume for May was up almost 40 percent
compared with April 2009. The company is currently offering 50
percent savings on all suite categories on more than 50 worldwide
voyages and recently expanded its $1,000 onboard credit offer to 70
sailings in 2009. Free or specially priced airfare is also available
on select voyages.
Among other
sailings, the onboard credit is available on the Silver Whisper's
seven-day cruise from Istanbul to Athens, departing Sept. 12, with
fares starting at $3,497 per person, double -- a 50 percent savings
-- plus the free or reduced roundtrip economy air transportation
(including transfer on day of embarkation/disembarkation) from
select U.S. and Canadian gateways. In addition, the booking deadline
has been extended to July 31, 2009. |
