The Silver Spirit launched towards the end of 2009 was officially christened on January 21st, 2010 in the prescience of many of the Lefebvre D'Ovido family as well local dignitaries, members of the trade and industry press and staff from the Ft. Lauderdale office. Silversea's latest and largest ship, is at the time of launching, just the second new luxury vessel to come into service in ten years. And luxurious she is as well as being well thought out and delightfully decorated. This is a ship to be proud of - just 270 suites in five categories 95% of which have verandahs and all with butler service. |

They even treat you to a complimentary shoreside event, the Silversea Experience, on many sailings. Itinerary: Following the christening ceremony, the Spirit set of on a 90 days Grand Inaugural voyage cruise around South America, with a west to east transit of the Panama Canal to finish in New York. Thereafter she will alternate between Caribbean and Mediterranean Cruise. |
