History We started Incentive Travel Consultants back in 2001. We are a small company (my wife and son are the other two employees) and usually do between 10 and 15 trips per year. We have a nice mix of trips in terms of cruise vs land trips. Before getting into this business I was involved in the television station business in sales and management and have also been involved in other entrepreneurial ventures that somehow were involved with and worked in the television business. Professional We work exclusively with media companies (TV stations, radio stations, cable, newspapers) who hire us to take their very best advertisers on trips throughout the world that are primarily incentive, usually with no formal business meetings set up. Most of the people who come on these trips are invited because of the amount of money they spend on advertising. Our usual trip size is between 30 and 60 travelers but we have done as few as 8 and as many as 70. We put the entire trip together for our clients from ordering luggage tags and creating sales brochures and day by day itineraries. Personal We always meet the travelers in the city that the trip departs from, we travel with them and we fly back with them to their home city. We are along in case there are any challenges that arise on the trip. |
