|
Jessica Castle is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida she has dual nationality (Australian & English) from her parents countries of birth. Born in Cannes, France in August of 1985, she has traveled extensively in her youth and speaks reasonable Spanish and some French. Jessica is a recent graduate of UCF's Rosen College of Hospitality Management, with a Batchelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management. Jessica transferred in her second year from Wake Forest University where she had been recruited to their women's golf team. Her impressive play in the fall and spring year of her first year at Wake Forest was marred by two quite serious golf related injuries, due to these and the long term recovery period she elected to step down from the team and transferred to UCF. Jessica has interned with several hospitality related companies during the 4 year term of her studies. Foremost amongst them, Orange Brook Golf Club as tournament organizer, with responsibilities for marketing, promotion and sponsorship of a national junior tournament and the sale and operation of a number of corporate golf events. To further enhance her experience, up to graduation Jessica interned with PRA, Orlando, a international destination management company. Jessica worked out of their Kissimmee office with responsibilities, for site selection, program proposals and final accounting. Jessica has been playing golf since she was eight years old, with a long string of successes in junior golf including leading her high school team to their first state championship in many years, plus a large number of wins on the International Junior Golf Tour as well as wins on the AJGA tour. In her teens Jessica qualified to play in the USGA's Girls Championship, the USGA Women's Amateur Championship and the USGA's Women's Publinks Championship. Whilst Jessica still plays golf on an occasional basis her busy schedule precludes her playing at a level to compete on the national stage. Jessica is a member of SITE and ISIS and has assisted/volunteered at their golf functions. Jessica is currently conducting a job search and with her back ground in golf and her tournament experience she believes a career in sporting event management would be an ideal fit. Her varied college and internship experience has covered many aspects of the travel and hospitably industry. She also has an artistic talent and has produced a number of brochures and other promotional pieces for the companies she has interned with. Jessica is a most personable and intelligent young women, she would be a "good prospect" for any company to consider. |
