Launched in 2000, the Renaissance (formerly Le Bonne Humeur) has earned a reputation as one of the most luxurious of the hotel barges on the rivers and canals of France. In 2006 she was refitted to even higher standards for the comfort of its passengers. The very latest improvements to the Renaissance for 2007 were flat screen TVs with satellite channels, plus DVD and CD players in all cabins. There is also on-board internet access via a dedicated laptop with G3 link, should you need to stay in touch with people or world events whilst on vacation.

Features

Renaissance cruises the Upper Loire and Western Burgundy. the cruise route includes cruising on the Seine and the Canal de Loing with stops in the beautiful cities of Samois-sur-Seine, Montereau, Moret-sur-Loing, Nemours, Nargis and Cepoy. In keeping with its tradition over the years, the Renaissance has engaged an outstanding, experienced crew that will continue to shower care and attention on their guests during a fabulous cruise week in the Ile-de-France / Upper Loire region.

The beautifully appointed lounge has comfortable seating. A cosy bar is stocked with your favourites and bookshelves contain a Bose CD system, current books, and up-to-date periodicals and magazines. She has 4 suites, which can be configured as twins or doubles. Each has a 60ft sq private bathroom. Renaissance has a sundeck with Jacuzzi and bicycles for clients use.

Renaissance... For the 2008 season will feature a refitted interior which will delight the most discerning passenger. Improvements include a new galley, a re-floored forward deck with roof extension for dining al fresco, an expanded, "guest-friendly" wheelhouse, upgraded staterooms and an additional silent generator.

Cruise Route

The well established cruise route will include cruising on the River Seine, the Canal de Loing and the ancient Canal du Briare with stops in the beautiful towns of Samois-sur-Seine, St Mammes, Nemours, Nargis and Rogny les Sept Ecluses.
