The m/v Explorer was constructed in Germany in 2001 and launched as the Olympic Explorer. She was purchased by her new owners in 2004 and operated by the Institute for Shipboard Education.  The Explorer along with her sistership is  currently one of the the fastest cruise ship afloat. With all the modern technology, she cruises worldwide.  She is a well finished ship with a good pedigree, refurbished as recently as 2004 she can be made available for selected charters around her normal cruising schedule.
