The luxurious river yacht Monarch is more akin to the type of vessel one sees in the swanky ports of the Cote d'Azur than the converted coal barges one thinks of for this type of cruising. The Monarch is a professionally run family operation catering to a maximum of 12 guests. Constructed in 1997 and partially refurbished in 2005, she offers outstanding accommodation, excellent cruising and a pampered yet adventurous river cruise lifestyle. With a spread of itineraries which allow you to cruise the rivers and canals of Holland, Belgium and Germany, with itineraries which can be customized to suit your needs. The Rhine, The Danube Region and the Moselle are available by special arrangement. The Monarch cruises from late March to early November.
