Spacious lounges and guest areas offer an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. The grand lobby, finished in polished woods and marble, is home to the reception area. Lined with large windows and featuring a bar and dance floor, the bright Panoramic Lounge is the right spot to enjoy a glass of Port wine with friends.
Dining in one luxurious seating is offered in the restaurant which features wrap-around windows. The Sun Deck is an inviting place for enjoying the gorgeous scenery of the Douro Valley. Plus, the Douro Queen is the only ship on the Douro River to feature a swimming pool and two whirlpools.
All 64 outside staterooms are well appointed. Staterooms on the main deck offer a large picture window, while those on the Upper Deck have floor-to-ceiling windows. These staterooms are slightly smaller; however, they include balconies from where you can view the ever-changing scene in comfort and privacy. All staterooms have a private bathroom with shower, ample closet space, TV with local channels and individually controlled air conditioning and heating. And all staterooms have hotel-style beds that can be positioned separately as twins, or together as a queen-size bed.
